Speech Contest

The Dean wants the students to work in pairs and create a 4-5 minute presentation, with PPT or Prezi based on a global issue. A good idea would be to take a relevant unit from the text and expand upon it. For example, Q:Skills 1 L&S, Unit 3 discusses etiquette in various countries. However you decide upon your topics, please stick with the themes of globalization, internationalism, international issues, problems facing the world, cross-cultural issues etc. For odd numbers of students, 1 group of 3 will be inevitable, but please stick to otherwise groups of 2.
